My Dad got his first Weimaraner in 1955 and it was truely a remarkable gundog. Since that time I have seen many Weim's with poor hunting instincts along with poor confirmation and it has bothered me for years. Several years ago I started the search for an old fashioned type of Weim similar to what my dad had. About 5 years ago I was able to purchase what I was looking for; good looking, square headed, athletic, with very strong pointing instincts, excellent retrieving instincts, very good tracking instincts,  and a tremendous personality. Consequently Kaya has become a member of the family as well as my constant companion.
